To search on more than one field use the Multi Field Search

Searching On One Field

You can search any one of the following N-Number, Owners Name, City, or State

The Following are some rules to use when searching on a single field
The "is" value is saying that the N-Number is equal to some number. For example, if you enter the N-Number 1234 then only the registration information for the aircraft N1234 is returned. If you choose to use the "contains" value, then all aircraft registration N-Numbers containg 1234 will be returned. If you are not careful this list could become quit large and take some time to compile. If you use the "contains" search option, it is best if you enter as much information as possible. If you know the the N-Number contains 1234, then enter 1234 not 12 or 123.

Please Note:
  • If you are searching for a N-Number, The "N" is implied. There is no need to enter it. If you do, the search will fail.
  • The state must be either the 2 letter abbreviation or the complete spelling. For example: CA, ca, California, california
Searching On Multiple Fields

You can search on one or more database fields

Please Note:
  • This type of search is somewhat slower than the first type. It looks in all of the above database fields for the information you have supplied. You enter what you are looking for and then select either Starts With or Contains.
  • The State must be the 2 letter abbreviation. For example CA, OR, NM, etc.
  • If you are searching for a N-Number, The "N" is implied. There is no need to enter it. If you do, the search will fail.

Some Examples: If you are looking for a N-Number and you enter 123 and select "Starts With" the search would return all N-Numbers that start with 123. This search would return N123, N1234, N12367, etc. If you selected "Contains" then the search would return all N-Number that contain 123. This search would return N41235, N123, N56123, etc.
If you also entered a Name, City, or State to narrow down the search, only registrations containing or starting with, which ever the case may be, would be returned.
